Sitting comfortably against a tree, a soft breeze danced in the leaves above. Dark blue almost black hair joining in the sway of the breeze. Onyx eyes, blank of any emotion stared listlessly at the small book in his lap. Pencil twirling in hand, much like a he would if it was a kunai. Sighing audibly the slender and muscled teen rose from his seat, groaning softly when muscles protested from sitting in the same position for an extended period of time. Before closing the small book, the raven haired teen read over the newest entry.
Do You?
You look around and you wonder how,
how your world got so flipped upside down.
Some many changes, its all so crazy.
Do you ever wonder,
what could have been?
Do you ever wish,
upon a star for a second chance?
You look up at the great floating ocean.
The sky is forever changing,
yet you know underneath it all its the same sky you've always known.
Do you ever wonder,
is there something more?
Do you ever wish,
that you could try something new?
You look down and there's the ever constant ground.
Don't let your head float in the clouds,
you gotta keep your feet planted firmly on the ground.
Do you ever wonder,
what could have been?
Do you ever wonder,
is there something more?
Do you ever wish,
upon a star for a second chance?
Do you ever wish,
that you could try something new?
Do you?
If you had the chance,
what would you change?
So you even know,
where to begin and where to end?
Long before he felt the chakra signatures of the other members Taka, he heard Karin and Suigestu arguing over some trivial non-sense. Snapping the book shut and quickly sealing it back in its scroll, he leaned back against the tree waiting for Taka to arrive. Gazing at the sky, he noticed a murder flying over head. Onyx eyes filled with sadness, watching the group of crows fly out of sight. 'Just like you, Aniki.' Eyelids fluttering closed, fighting back the sting of tears. A few moments later eyes snapped open, blank as they had been for the past few years. No trace of the brief regret and sadness left to be seen.
"Sasuke-kun!" Karin gushed when she caught sight of Taka's leader. Nodding his head in greeting to the red head and the other two males close behind her. Suigestu two fingered saluted as a greeting and Jugo just nodded. Turning and jumping up onto a sturdy tree branch and then jumped to the next sturdy branch; the Uchiha didn't bother to check behind to see if the others followed, he knew they would. Team Taka quickly vanished into the green foliage.
Not too far from the tree Sasuke had been sitting against, an abnormally large crow with slick black feathers sat on a branch of another tree, starring sadly after the raven haired teen. If anyone had been around to see they would have sworn that the crow had vibrant red eyes. A certain intelligence could be seen in them that certainly didn't belong in the eyes of a crow. Most would assume that it was just their imagination but if you looked closely enough you could see that the crow with the intelligent red eyes was weeping. Tears dripped from its beak, gravity quickly dropping them to the ground below. With a heart breaking caw, the crow spread its large wings and shot into the sky. No one around to see it fly far far away and eventually out of sight.
