Chad was pacing back and forth nervously in the Mackenzie Falls studio. Why? He was planning to ask Sonny Munroe out.
Why not do this the easy way? He thought.
So he texted Sonny, "Meet me at the studio for the Falls ASAP!"
Sonny showed up, wondering why Chad wanted her there.
"What is this all about, Chad?" she asked.
He started nervously. "Um...I wanted to ask if you would go out with me tomorrow night."
"Really?" Sonny asked, skeptical.
"Yeah."
"Then how come you didn't come to the So Random studio? Why did I have to meet you here? Is this a bet with one of your stuck up friends?"
Chad's Thoughts:
Maybe I should have thought this through.
"No…" Chad started to say.
"It is!"
"No, it's not!"
"It is!"
"No, it's not!"
"It is!"
"No, it's not!"
This continued to go on for a while until Sonny finally tried something else to get the truth.
"How do I know you really like me?"
Chad, in one motion, put his hands around Sonny's waist and pressed his lips against hers. After he released, Sonny looked very surprised.
"So you do like me!"
"Yeah. So do you want to?"
"What?"
"Go out with me tomorrow?"
"Well…can I tell you tomorrow?"
Chad nodded.
"Thanks! See you later, then!"
Chad was disappointed that his answer would come the next day.
