A/N: We've seen it before ten songs ten one shots. This is my take on the classic challenge.

Somewhere in the Middle

Collide by Howie Day

He'd driven her home that night, and it had escalated from there. He was still worried for her. He'd been close to loosing her before, but nothing like this. Because this time they weren't together. So when they woke up in the same bed thinking the same thing the deal was sealed. They were together again.

3 AM by Matchbox Twenty

Ziva could have been viewed as an over protective mother, and in fact she was. Because as a child she hadn't been protected. Tony had helped her overcome some of the fear, but when she had children, she made sure they were safe. Not stuck in and African hell-hole or wandering in the woods.

When You're Gone by Avril Lavine

He'd been temporarily reassigned to LA cyber crime for six months. Six months of hell for Abby. They had just started datng again. An odd couple, but they complemented each other perfectly. He called her before she went to bed and they cideo chatted as often as they could, but it still wasn't enough. She made a broom McGee and kept his letters close to her heart. Always rereading the last line "I love you Abby, McGee".

Hips Don't Lie by Shakira

It was a normal Friday. Tony was out clubbing and searching for a girl to share his mood with tonight. His eyes were drawn to a woman who looked mildly familiar, but he couldn't place it. Her back was to him, and she was miscuing with grace he'd never seen in a club. Her long hair was whipping around, and he approached her. He grabbed her waist from behind only to be put in a choke hold. "Wha- Tony!"

"Ziva!"

Alive by Pearl Jam

It was nothing short of a miracle. She was on the brink of death, an incurable disease, and her three-year-old daughter had saved her. Cord blood, the cord blood they'd baked when she was born. Jenny couldn't help but cry. Kate was truly their little miracle.

Who Knew by Pink

She'd believed him, every word, ever, "I love you," every "forever." She'd defended him from everyone, Tony, Gibbs. But it was all just a lie, a mission. Her father's twisted way of getting back in her life, of making her come back to Israel. And he'd won, he had her, but he'd still never have her heart that belonged in D.C. with the family who'd never betray her.

How Far We've Come by Matchbox Twenty

His world is slowly but surely coming to an end. He knows she's leaving, he knows it's too late, but he still has to try. Making right was never his strong suit, but he would try—for her.

Angel by Sarah McLaughlin

Somehow death was easier to face like this—almost unconscious, feeling nothing. Letting all of the information they wanted from her die with her. "Like the Harry Potter novel," she remembered telling McGee that once. Dieing to save the ones she loved. And just as she was slipping away, her vision was fading to black. She heard something, and then saw his face—Tony. She was in the arms of an angel now.

Move Along by The All American Rejects

"She has a fear of losing those close to her and so pushes people away." That was what the shrink had said about her, and she couldn't help but think he was right as she wrote Jethro that letter.

Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carlton

He taught her how to really live her life: to take it one day at a time, to anticipate, but never plan. He taught her everything about being an agent and, if she was honest with herself, a lover. Beneath the gruff exterior he was romantic, and playful. He made an ordinary day extraordinary.
