With harry potter gone on a 1 month business meeting to America, Draco is becide himself. His apartment, empty. His lover, gone, visiting some foreign country. Of course he said he'd miss Draco, and he couldn't wait to be home with his husband for 6 years, but did that stop Draco from being lonely, sad and depressed? No.

So what did he decide to do? Visit Ron and Hermione Weasely of course!

"He just left mate! You can't miss him already?" Ron asked, and Draco shook his head, attempting to fix his sadness with their help. It was not working.

"It's… not fair." He said, sitting down at their kitchen table, looking more depressed than ever. This was the first business trip harry went on, and Draco felt like something was missing. The love of his life had left for a business trip and there was nothing he could do about it. So why was he being so depressed? He had no bloody idea.

"Uncle Draco!" he heard rose exclaim, coming to hug him. Rose, the beautiful little four year old, bouncing red curls, freckles on her cheeks, and the brightest pair of sapphire eyes Ron and Hermione had ever seen.

"Hello darling, oh how I've missed you." He said, but she could see behind his mask. She was good at looking into people's eyes, even for a four year old, and telling how they were feeling, or if they were lying. Her mother often said it was a gift, and a curse.

"You're sad. I can see it in your eyes. How come?" she asked and he didn't say anything. Even a four year old could tell the great Draco Malfoy- Potter was depressed. Fantastic.

"Alright rose, that's enough. Why don't you go play and let the adults talk" Ron suggested, and she nodded reluctantly. She gave Draco one last bear hug before she scurried off to play with her toys in her upstairs bedroom.

When she was gone, Draco, who's sadness had not been helped by the tiny red haired four year old, went to the fountain that was in front of the Weasely's house. A massive fountain, with a wide rim that you could sit on and not get wet. He looked into the water, and saw nothing but his depressed reflection. Cursing himself for being overly dramatic, he sighed. He wanted to be strong for harry, be happy that he was going on a meeting, be happy that his lover who got the chance to go and visit somewhere he'd never been before. An adventure, Draco had told him, the day he found out he was to leave.

Draco looked into the pool of water and saw harry's reflection. 'I'm going crazy' he thought, smiling at the reflection of himself and harry in the water.

"Hello love" The reflection said, and Draco turned around and saw that it wasn't his imagination at all. Harry had in fact, came to him, still in his suit, still carrying his luggage, but with a grin on his face.

"Harry James, what are you doing here?" he asked, getting up and pulling him into a soft embrace.

"Well, you see, I couldn't get on the plane. I just couldn't. I told them to go without me, to tell whoever we were meeting with that I was sick. Because you see love, even if I wanted to, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It wouldn't be the same without my love. I'd rather stay home for a thousand years then go on an adventure without you." he said, and Draco wrapped his arms around Harry's neck and kissed him with such a remarkable passion that they both got lost in the moment. The kiss abruptly ended however when they heard the scream of a tiny four year old.

"My wish came true! Mummy, I'm magical!" rose screamed from her bedroom window, looking at harry and Draco kissing by the fountain. Harry and Draco both laughed softly at that, and went into the house, back into the craziness that was their lives.

Draco didn't care. His love was home. That was all that mattered.
