Her breathing became heavier as she ran through the dark streets of Paris, trying to get rid of the pounding steps behind her. She kept pushed down the rising panic within her and focused on getting away from the nightmare that followed her. Cobb had warned her that she shouldn't go out at night by herself, but she being the stubborn woman that she is decided to take a quick walk to the supermarket. It was when she came out of the market that she heard the heavy steps that now kept her running. She had dropped her bag of groceries, where she couldn't remember. From the time she heard the footsteps it had all been a blur of anxiety and adrenaline. As she rounded a corner she felt a strong arm pull her in and before she could scream a hand covered her mouth. She noticed the deliciously familiar scent of Eames as he pulled her to his chest. She stopped struggling and he dropped his hand from her mouth. She wondered how he knew where she was.

What she didn't know is that he had been watching her from the time that she set foot outside the warehouse. He had had his eyes on her for sometime now. He would steal glances at her while they were at work. He being a man who was paid to notice details was familiar with every part of her. He noticed how she would bite the inside of her cheek when she was thinking, how she would run her hands through her hair when she was frustrated. He noticed the worried looks she gave Cobb and how she would glance at Arthur like a school girl who had a crush on the jock.

She was innocent yet confident and she was not looking at him. She was a challenge that was for sure, but she wasn't just a one night stand. She was someone you found out more about, and that is exactly what the Forger intended to do. She attracted him like no other woman had ever before and he had been determined to get those glances directed towards him. He would get the girl and annoy Arthur at the same time, which was a favorite activity of his. The Forger was handsome and charming, with an accent that made girls weak in the knees and he knew it. He used all his tricks on her. It started out slow. He would ask her out to coffee, bring her lunch a few times. He then started with the touching. He would brush his hand against hers when they would pass by each other, come up behind her and trap her between him and the desk when she wanted to show him something. He kept up with the touching and brought her gifts, a flower brushed against her cheek with a smile and a flirtatious wink, a bottle of wine for celebrating how well she was doing. He could tell that she had never been treated like this before by the look of surprise in her eyes and the blush that rose to her cheeks whenever he did something new.

He had been holding himself back from just grabbing her and kissing her. That is why when he pulled her into that alley and into his chest he took advantage of the situation. He could hear the footsteps coming closer, "I'm going to kiss you", he said before he crashed his lips to hers.

She was surprised at his sudden action but as the Forger threaded one strong but gentle hand in her hair and drew his other arm around her waist while gently pushing her against the wall, she melted into him. All the touching and the gifts had made her feel adored and in that moment she accepted her growing attraction and feelings for the forger and kissed him right back.
