Ugly Betty Season 4 AU
Betty Suarez held Gio Rossi's hand, for a moment just that one single moment it felt weird but then the love of these two became reality. They stood in front of Mode Magazine, it was Betty's first day as Assistant Mode Editor. Betty looked at Gio and gulped feeling very nervous she spoke "Gio, what happens if I screw up?"
"You won't" spoke the voice of Gio Rossi in a kind and gentle tone "You are brilliant and you also won it fair and square." Betty smiled for a single second and then she saw it, Matt Hartley strutted down the street in a fine Pico Roxanna Suit, tailored for his first day. He stopped for a single second at Betty and looked at her and walked into the building. "What's the guys problem, you two dated if didn't work out and we reunited" spoke Gio in a dissatisfied tone.
"I think it's more the problem that we broke up, at the Mama awards I explained how you will always feel something for your first love" spoke Betty in a sorrowful tone "and he told me I was his first love." Gio sighed, he knew of course he was not the first person Betty Suarez had laid eyes on, there was one man named Henry Grubstick who had found Betty first.
"Betty, I know you will always love Henry in someway and I accept that, that's the problem he doesn't" Gio told Betty in a comforting tone. Betty stomach crunched, she was feeling so guilty, mainly because her boss Daniel Meade now found himself alone and his wife in her grave while she was worrying about something as simple as a relationship.
"Gio, I kissed Henry and Matt saw that, imagine how you would feel if you were him?" said Betty sticking up for Matt. "Betty, you kissed Henry?" said Gio dumb-stuck. Betty eyes widen and she thought 'Why did I say that?"
"Gio, I have to go" spoke Betty running across the street and into the Mode Building. When she opened the doors and found Claire Meade waiting for her. "Hello Betty" she spoke smiling "Welcome to your first day being a editor."
"Thank you Mrs Meade" Betty spoke in a polite and obedient voice "I can't wait to start." Claire smile disappeared and she was left with a frown on her face "Betty, I am sorry to say this has nothing to do with your job I'm worried about Daniel."
"Oh" said Betty by surprise, she was not expecting this but then again she was truly the only one expect for Molly to get through Daniel. "He's not eating, drinking, he's not even speaking and I am deeply worried about him" said Claire in a very sad voice. Betty looked puzzled, she was not Daniels assistant anymore but the Meade family had helped her before. "Mrs Meade, have you spoken to a Doctor?" Betty spoke.
"That is the last thing, he needs to see after being crowded around them with Molly's cancer."
"Mrs Meade, I have to go I'm starting my new job today" spoke Betty.
