So I found the quote in the summary in my English book this afternoon, and immediately thought of Giripan. Also inspired by a poem on the same page, also about umbrella-sharing. This will only be a short little drabble, as I need to update my other multi-chapters.
Greece had never liked the rain. To him, it meant wet cats shaking their fur off all over his bed. It meant frizzed-up hair. It meant panicked kittens digging their claws into his leg as deep as they could as the thunder crashed. But today, as he held the umbrella over Japan's head, he found himself wishing the rain would never stop. The umbrella wasn't quite big enough to cover them both, but that simply meant he had to hold Japan closer against him to stop them both getting wet. Even so, the rain was running down the right side of his face. "Greece-san, why are you smiling?" Greece simply tightened the arm around the other man's shoulders. He was smiling because he wanted the rain to keep on falling. That way they could stay this close to each other forever.
