OK, so I probably won't get to get on here on Christmas day, so I'm going to go ahead and put this story up. It's real gushy towards the end! BTW, the whole story is in Riley's POV and when they're 18.
Riley's POV
"Merry Christmas!!!!" blasted out of the speakers of my phone.
"Good morning to you too!" I joked back at KC. It was 6:28am, you guessed it, Christmas morning. "So, you called me at 6 in the morning because…"
"Because I have a gift for my awesome boyfriend that can't wait to give to you. Either you bring your hinny down to my house now or I'll freak!"
"OK give me five minutes to get ready, and I'll be there soon. OK jittery?"
"Fine! Hurry!"
10 minutes later
I walked up the stairs of KC's front porch, getting ready for a hyper psycho to come busting out the door. Right when I was about to knock on the door, KC opened the door.
"Riley!" She screamed.
"KC!"
"Come on!" She gently kissed me on the cheek, then grabbed me on the arm, dragging me into her kitchen.
"OK, put this blindfold on!" I did as I was told.
"OK. Now what?"
"Follow me!" KC pulled me into her living room.
"OK on the count of three take your blindfold off. One…Two...Two and a quarter….Two and a half… Two and three quarters….Three!!!!!!" I took my blindfold off. I was shocked to see a brand new keyboard sitting in front of me.
"KC! It's amazing! I can't believe you got me this!"
"Actually I was talking about the toy car." I blushed. "Just kidding! Do you not love it?!"
"It's amazing! I have something for you too."
"OK?" I reached for my back pocket. I pulled out a small, red, velvet box. I got down on one knee.
"KC, I love you so much and I would do anything for you. Will you marry me?" She started to cry.
"Oh Riley! Yes! I will marry you!" I stood up and gave her a huge kiss.
"I love you KC!"
"I love you too Riley!" This was surely a Christmas to remember.
