"Emmett, hurry up, the plane leaves in an hour." Edward called. The Cullen Clan was going to Isle Esme. Jasper and Carlisle were already loading Rosalie's multiple bags into the back of the Jeep. "I'm coming." A couple of minutes later Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, and Alice were leaving in the Jeep, followed by Edward, Bella, Esme and Carlisle in the Volvo. It was a quite ride to Portugal. On the way to the coast, they were stopped by an old man. "Immortals, come to me." he said in a hypnotic tone. The 8 of them were drawn closer. "Look into the cauldron." he said. The Cullens did as they were instructed.
"Edward Masen," a voice in the cauldron hissed. "In this life, you are mortal enemies with Jacob Black. In another life, you are his boyfriend." Edward was sucked into the cauldron.
"Jasper Whitlock," the voice rasped. "In this life you control and feel other's emotions. In another life, emotions are your downfall." Jasper followed Edward.
"Rosalie Hale," the voice hissed. "In this life you are very vain. In another life, you sold your body for money." Rosalie was fated for the same thing as Edward and Jasper.
"Esme Platt," the voice said. "In this life you are very compassionate. In another life, you despise the world." Esme went along the same path as the others.
"Isabella Swan," the voice rasped again. "In this life, you are very popular. In another life you are secluded." Bella followed her family into the cauldron.
"Alice Brandon," the voice said again. "In this life you are outgoing. In another life you are a star." Alice went into the cauldron.
"Emmett McCarty," the voice hissed another time. "In this life you constantly mock Michale Newton. In another life you are his boyfriend." Emmett was sucked into the cauldron
"Carlisle Cullen," the voice hissed one last time. "In this life you save lives. In another life you take them." Carlisle was the last one of his family to fall into the cauldron.
Six of the Cullens woke up in the Forks High Cafeteria. They had complete memory of both their lives here and in their own world. "Em?" Mike Newton asked. "Yeah, Mikey?" Emmett said, calling up the pet name he had for Mike. "Did you hear about that psychopath, Carlisle Cullen, breaking out of the asylum?" Mike asked. Emmett glanced sharply at Edward, who he saw sitting next to Jacob Black. He looked over at Alice and Jasper. Jasper was dressed in all black. Jasper glanced down at his arms. His crescent shaped scars were replaced by small incisions all up and down his arm. He looked at Rosalie. She was surrounded by Jessica Stanley, Eric Yorkie, and Ben Cheney.
