It was a late January evening; Amy was upstairs in bed, waiting for her husband to get home. He should have been home hours ago, but the sudden snowstorm had delayed him. At about 1:00 Am Amy finally fell asleep. Soon after, Ephram walked the front door as quietly as he could, trying not to wake the dog. Ephram slips upstairs and into the bedroom. He tries not to wake Amy, but is unsuccessful. As soon as he slips into their bed, Amy wakes up. "Hi. Your home." Amy says in a soft voice, as if she just woke up. "Yeah, I'm home. Go back to sleep, I'll see you in the morning." Ephram answers in a soft, calm voice. Amy rolls over and falls back asleep and falls asleep. Ephram does the same soon after.
The next morning, Ephram wakes up early and goes and makes breakfast for him, his wife, and there daughter. When Amy wakes up, she rolls over to see nothing, no Ephram. Amy gets up and puts her robe on. She enters her daughters room and wakes her up. "Emma, time to get up." Amy starts out of Emma's room, "Mommy. Is Daddy home?" Emma asks. "Yes, daddy's home, come on lets get up." Amy goes downstairs to smell the breakfast that Ephram had been preparing. "Good Morning." Amy says to Ephram, startling him. "Oh, good morning. How did you sleep?" He asked. "After you got home, fine. Why are you up so early?" "I woke up and decided to make breakfast." Ephram answers. "Really? What are we having?" Asked Amy.
