Mario & Luigi: Bean Fever

I was still at the Mushroom Embassy, waiting for the word from the doctor. I won't assume you knew what happened next: I had to go to a place that had a terrifying monster. Oh, you know how easily I get scared!

I remembered that when Mario and I first got to Little Fungitown, we saw a toad coming out of a mushroom house, saying "That Psycho Kamek is one awesome hypnotist." A hypnotist. That's what I needed.

I walked over to the office of Psycho Kamek, still as scared as ever, when I heard a low, deep voice that said, "Oh, are you interested in my hypnotic abilities?" I couldn't nod; I could only shake. "Oh, dear!" went his soothing, calming voice. "You look so…nervous. Horrified, even! Why don't you start by taking a long, deep breath?" I took three of them and felt absolutely wonderful. I still wasn't ready, though.

"How was that? You feel more relaxed now, don't you?"

"Oh, yes, I do!" I said. I loved this hypnokoopa so much, I wanted to hug him!

"Say, you're dressed strikingly like Mario, aren't you?" he asked, also noticing my Italian accent. "Are you infatuated with Mario, the superstar?" I nodded. "Well, in that case, I shall turn you into Mario! Now, close your eyes…" His voice was so relaxing, so calming. I rested my hands and closed my eyes tightly.

I was suddenly out of the house. I was on my face, and a toad asked me worriedly, "Luigi, are you okay?" I looked around. I certainly wasn't in that house anymore…

I told the Toad, "I don't know what I've been doing!"

"WHAT?" he asked incredulously. "Don't you remember?" I thought for a long while, then nodded. He said, "I heard you went to Guffawha Ruins to get Crabbie Grass for Mario… Did… did you really get Crabbie Grass?"

I did not know what in the name of lasagna was going on, but I checked my suitcase. Sure enough, it was right there! Psycho Kamek must have not wanted me to remember being Mario or going to the Guffawha Ruins.

But now there was more trouble. Princess Peach had been kidnapped AGAIN! Oh mama mia, I thought, here we go again!
