In the year 2700 there was a girl named Cassandra, Cassandra was in high school and had been teased relentlessly about her looks and weight, she was of an average height, had bright ginger hair, brown eyes and acne covering her face, and was a bit overweight, the teasing had gotten so bad even her teachers started making comments about her looks, she never said a thing back to the bullies in the hopes that they would start to realise that their comments had no effect on her whatsoever, but that didn't happen every day Cassandra went home and straight to her bedroom where she would cry her eyes out.
One day at school Cassandra was in science and they were learning about DNA and it effects the type of person that you are from looks to personality, Cassandra started to daydream about what it would be like to be able to change your DNA, what it would be like to control the way you look, to be able to get rid of all off your flaws, start over again, have friends and people that like you and won't make rude comments about you all the time!
Cassandra decided that she wanted to make this dream come true, so she focused completely on studying biology, biotechnology and engineering, which she spent 20 years of her life studying, working out all of the details of the life changing device.
When she was 35 years old she was finally able to unveil what she had been working on for those past 20 years, it was a factory, well it looked like a normal factory on the outside but on the inside there hundreds of rooms, these rooms could be for people who had to stay overnight, to people who would have to stay for a week or more, there were testing rooms, lunch rooms, bathrooms and the thing that had inspired Cassandra to make the factory.
It was an enormous room located on the top of the building, it was the room that changed a person's life, there was a very long conveyer belt which started at the front of the room near the door and would make its way around the rest of the room, along the conveyer belt there would be stops every now and then, these stops were where the changes would happen, at these stops were a cylindrical trough, a person's body would be covered by the cylindrical trough on the inside were needles, these needles are inserted into the skin and would go into the veins and would start the process of change in a person's DNA so at each stop the change would become more noticeable until the last stop when they were completely changed, and get moved onto a bed by a nurse and then moved to a recovery room.
This room has changed the lives of many, from people who got teased for their looks, people who hated the way that they looked and even people with physical disabilities.
At the age of 92 Cassandra passed away in her sleep with the body of a 20 year old.
