It's been Nearly three Days Past Since
Poca and Johnny met,
They Never Spoke, although their Eyes
Were set on one another, and in other Places too.
When She kneeled Down to plant corn,
He Bent. .from afar. .Just to see the View.
Poca's Father saw Him as a
White Boy too Sunny for their Land,
But Little did He Know, that
His most Precious Daughter was
Oh so Curious about this Man's Blue Eyes.
A Hue She has Never Known before,
She Desired to Understand the Taste
Behind His Sunny Ways. .
And of the Path in which this Foreign Man Resides.
So One Day, Johnny Decided to
Speak to Her as She Worked in the corn fields.
He Startled Her to a Great Extent,
Causing a Loud Scream to Escape.
They Both Expressed Amusement after the Incident.
Although the Genuine Reason for
Her Scream was the Sight of maggots
Squirming around in His Eye, with no Reflection to see it.
They made a Choice to Part ways During Sunrise and
Meet up to Talk in the Night. In Regards to this,
Poca managed to Find
Two Long Strings to Wove Together as a
Fresh Pair of Leaf Coverings,
This Time She used a Bundle of
Red, Brown, and Green Leaves
For Decoration in Her own Mind, and to be Cautious of the
Unwanted Discoveries in the Female Body .
Later that Day, Well into the Night, Poca and Johnny Ran
Within the Nearby Woods.
She brought two servings of Planted
Corn cobs while Johnny made a Fire.
They would eat as She would Portray of Mystical Tales
That weren't to be Shared with an outsider such as Him.
After a while, He Leaned in, over the Flames and
Wished for a Friendly Kiss.
She Laughed and Said His Breath was Oddly Foul. .
But She Embraced Him with a Long Lasting Hug.
Then the Sounds of Rumbling Tree Leaves Grew Audible,
As the Figure of Poca's Father became Visible. .
Leaving Johnny Stunned by His Sudden Arrival,
And Giving Poca quite a task to do!
To Protect the Foreign Feud!
