Hiyori sighed deeply and put down her pencil and stretched, she pulled her hair away from her face into a ponytail and returned to her studies. She was avidly reading when a voice broke her concentration.
Hiyori?" she sighed and ignored him, but he persisted.
"Hiyori, Hiyori, Hiyori!" he said over and over again.
"What" she finally screamed as she turned to face him. What she saw caused her to burst out laughing. There he was the god that followed her around like a lost puppy, hanging upside down in her desk chair.
"What's so funny?" he asked.
"You are" she said as she quieted down.
He shrugged his shoulders and whispered "whatever you say."
"Yato" she started "why are you here?"
"I wanted to see you, plus you need a break, you study too hard" he said while still hanging upside down.
"She stood up and stretched and walked over and sat down in the floor in front of him. She placed her hand on his cheek as she gazed into his piercing blue eyes. She leaned forward and thanked him as she lightly pressed her lips to his. When they parted she smiled at him and he smiled goofily and said "Do you think stars have feelings?"
She face palmed and got up and went back to studying. He shrugged again and continued watching her until she fell asleep on her books, it was only then he got up from the chair and scooped her up and lay her down on the bed. He kissed her forehead and stepped out the window into the night.
