Ring.
Ring.
Ring.
"Hello?" she answers.
"Hey its me." The low male voice responds.
"Oh hey, what's going on?" she asks as Roy sets Lian down to bed.
"Come outside. I swear it'll only take 30- minutes." he asked, not that happy.
"Okay I will. Just let them go to bed"
"Alright"
25 Minutes Later
A Blur of Yellow and Red shows off in the distance.
"You're here earlier than expected" she says with a bit of cheer in her voice.
"Yeah well its not a social visit" he stated with gruffness in his voice.
"It never is" she retorted.
"Found out about them. You knew didn't you?" he asked with a faint hint of anger.
She didn't know how to respond.
"Hmm, okay. Well I left the house. I will pick up Bruce and the rest of my things tomorrow while she's at school. I dropped out."
"You're going to Barry & Iris' place aren't you?" she asked with no hesitation.
"You know me too well."
"Well if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be doing this. I'm sorry Wally"
"If it wasn't for me, Roy wouldn't have our precious daughter." he snapped.
With that, he sped off to Central City.
Jade's heart sank.
He's right.
Not many redheads would be convinced by Lian's complexion and hair color.
Wally was the mistake she never wanted to have. But if it wasn't for that mistake, her life wouln't have been as perfect as it was.
Funny.
Artemis used to have 'the life'.
Now its me.
I should be happy.
But why aren't I?
