Carlos and James were in the dressing room resting before going onstage. They were both talking random stuff until Carlos's face turns serious. His eyes drop to the floor, a sad look fitting on his features. James tells something to Carlos, he looks away. James has a determination in his eyes and forces Carlos to look at him. James knew something was wrong. James leans in to hug Carlos but a weird twist of heads and a weird hug ended with lips upon lips. A tear trails its way down Carlos's cheek his smile appearing again. James holds him close. Words shared between lovers but not the usual sayings. Words like "your going to hell" and "you will betray me for money" and "we will meet again later on" are passed from Carlos to James. James holds back tears, eyes ready to burst. With a last kiss to his new lover and best friend, James goes to the one person Carlos sent him to.
James approaches the door, takes a deep breath, and walks in. Inside is Griffin the CEO of Roque Records. A light beams down to cover Griffin in light. James closes the door and walks up to the desk of Griffin. A grin goes in the CEO's face. James looks down hiding his face, closing his eyes waiting to wake up from this nightmare. He turns to face the door. He makes his way out the last words he hears being "the kiss on the lips will give him away". Shame fills James and tears pour out of him. That night he went on a drunken rampage. A smack to a prostitute was first. Raping a stranger was next. The third and final betrayal happens the next day.
James woke up in his room the next day at the Palmwoods. Dreading the night to come he plans to make this day the best of Carlos's life. They spent the day together. Smiles and laughs were shared, their minds trying to forget about the concert. They savored every moment together. They ended the day by giving each other a gift they wouldn't get back, their virginities. As they got ready for the Concert of this night tension was running high. Tears shed one last time before Big Time Rush hit the stage. Griffins security guards waiting for the cue to assure Carlos is the right target. The boys sang their hearts out for it will be their last. James looks at the audience before turning to Carlos. He makes his way over to Carlos and whispers his final I love you to him. He kisses him on the lips. He savors the taste, the feeling, the love in it knowing he will never see Carlos again. The security guards rush on stage as the curtain falls and Carlos is captured. Soon afterwards he was killed n James told his story. James was shunned by the world.
A week later James hears one of his songs, A shot in the Dark. He gets a gun, goes off to a secret place where no one will find him and shoots his heart. He heads straight for hell for betraying Carlos but in the end, after hell forgives his sins, he will reunite with his beloved Carlos. Until then he suffers for all the wrong doing he did to his lover, hoping Carlos will forgive him and be his when they meet again in heaven.
