Little games of truth or dare were quite common in the Fairy Tail guild hall, as everyone both involved and uninvolved usually got quite a laugh out of the results. Aside from the constant fighting, it was one of Natsu's favorite past times within the guild.

Lucy knew this. She'd watched dozens of little games go down between he and Gray, he and Erza, he and Happy. It was really quite funny to watch.

So, she'd decided to have a little fun, and maybe pry and answer out of the mage she'd had a crush on since he'd brought her to the guild. She walked into the guild one morning with a plan, and she sat down beside Natsu, who was once again stuffing his face with Mira's delicious food.

"Hey Natsu," she said attracting his attention.

"Yo Luce," he answered through a mouthful of food, glancing at her curiously. Happy watched from the sidelines with an amused look on his face, though he hid it well through bites of raw fish.

"Let's play a game of truth or dare," she told him. His eyes brightened immediately, and he quickly swallowed down everything he was chewing.

"I choose dare!"

Lucy smirked. That was the thing about this game. You could definitely get what you wanted out of someone else if you asked the right question or gave the right dare. That was why it was perfect for her uses.

She leaned closer, and said in an almost whisper, "Then I dare you to love me."

Happy snorted laughter into his fish, and Natsu blinked in surprise. Lucy watched him absorb her words, while his poor brain tried to come up with an adequate response to her dare.

Then he grinned. "Thought you were gonna give me a dare."

She raised an eyebrow. "I did."

"No, Luce. That's the truth."

"Boom!" Happy laughed to himself.

Lucy blinked, as it was her turn for surprise, then she laughed as well. "Nicely played, Dragneel."

Natsu made a little bow in his seat. "Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week." His stomach growled, and he quickly went back to placating it, acting as though nothing had interrupted him. Lucy snorted.

"So you two really are in loooove," Happy taunted, finished with his fish.

"Shut it, cat!"
