All alone,

up in the castle I stay.

Got no one to talk to,

I'm out of their way.

I spend my time,

cutting hedges.

With my scissor hands,

with razor edges.

One day,

a lady knocks on the door.

She says I don't,

have to be alone anymore.

She takes me to her home,

and feeds me well.

Now my life,

don't feel like hell.

Her daughter is a beauty,

I'm madly in love.

She looks like an angel,

from the heaven above.

But she's got a boyfriend,

Which made me sad

She broke up with him

And he got mad.

The town turned against me

And drove me away

I wanted to be with her,

But she said I couldn't stay.

All alone,

up in the castle I stay.

Got no on to talk to,

I'm out of their way.
