Prologue
The letter wasn't the thing that was important, but it was the words that held and strung the boy's hearts. The letters, though short due to the ongoing fights they encountered, were the preferred way of contact now. It was these letters that the rift when on left started patching up and where their hearts grew closer. Though, to any watching the two, it was also the time both withdrew from their lives. It was heart breaking but it was the think that both needed.
After all, one cannot love another when both love each other.

Hey, I… I thought it would be a good idea to send this now since… well, I don't keep much contact with you but the old man. I am worried though… mostly about you, and… I was hoping you'd respond? You see, I miss you, Lu, and it's hard to think that for the last few years I haven't been a great brother to you. Especially keeping you out of trouble.
How's your day? What are you and your crew up to? Have you found another ship mate? Did Vivi stay with you guys as a pirate?

It was a sad letter when the boy read it, but it was a letter that the boy wanted to respond to. After all, it was finally time for this heartbroken soul to be able to stitch up the years his brother had left.
When one is in love, nothing one does will fix it; however, this wasn't just any relationship.
