Beacon was burning, home was burning.
"No...Not again." Nora whimpered her feet shaking as she watched the devastation being caused to the place she loved, the place she had come to call home.
Nora's breath quickened, her shivering increased and her head started whipping around.
"Renny! RENNY!" Nora's cries was lost in the din, making Nora even more worried, when did they get separated? How did it happen?
Suddenly a Beowulf lunged at her, claws intending to rend her apart.
Nora swung her hammer smashing the Beowulf into a pulp and sending it's disintegrating corpse into the other grimm.
"Renny, where are you?"
Nora was very worried, Ren was missing and so where the others, but more importantly Ren was missing, she had to find him she didn't know what she would do if Ren disappeared.
Nora started smashing her way through grimm frantically looking around for her oldest and closest friend, her mind supplying scenarios that made her stomach churn and her eyes sting.
"Please, please be all right Ren," Nora pleads as her mind flashed to a village that was burning, screams and growls rang around her head before she shook it away, "No Ren will be alright, he's a ninja they can't touch him."
All of a sudden she saw a flash of green and black, rushing over she saw Ren surrounded.
"Ren!" She yelled smashing away the grimm in her path as she ran towards him. "You're okay!" She yelled in relief making Ren smile for a brief moment before his face turned serious, "Nora," Ren says his face focused "Stick with me alright? We'll be able to clear more grimm and look for Jaune and Pyrrha if we work together."
Nora's face beamed as she saluted, "Aye aye Ren! Let's go look for out fearless leader and Pyrrha!"
Ren nodded as the grim growled to remind them of their presence,
"Let's get to work Nora."
Nora grinned and readied her weapon,
"Let's smash em!"
Things just got a little bit better.
