- I have... I have a very advanced cerebral tumor – said a girl with green eyes laid down in a hospital bed.
- the doctors say that there is nothing to do… - continue the girl looking to the floor.
-WHAT? Please tell me that it is a lie! – asked a chocolate haired boy with amber eyes.
- Shaoran... I m the one that wishes the most that this was a lie – say the girl letting fall a crystal tear by her cheek.
A silence invaded the place, like the sadness in its hearts. The girl constantly sobs, and think about the beautiful things, and sensations that she have faced with, while the boy was feeling guilty and desolated. Seeing her crying make his hearth to cry inside...he wants to her happy, until her last breath.
- You know... my dad once told me that the great Gods can fulfill a desire if you in return make thousand and one paper swans. He told me this story 2 days before he passed away. – The boy said looking to the window.
-.Do you think that if I do thousands and one swans the gods will fulfill my wish and I will no longer be sick? – ask the girl with hope in its voice.
- Sakura, I am sure. - He said smiling and taking one of the girl's hands to his hearth.
A few minutes later, Sakura's dad arrives to the place and smile at seeing his daughter and her friend in an activity. Both of them told him the fact of the paper swans. He turns very happy and decides to help them too, and next to Touya, who smile receiving a new hope for his sister.
Months passes and the amount of swans as of helpers increased, putting Sakura very happy. Seeing all the people you love working together for a noble cause. She smile but then she falls at sleep.
She wakes up in dawn and saw all dark. In his side, she saw her dad and brother sleeping. Next to the door, Sonomi, with her eyes closed. And on a chair, Tomoyo, her friend, sleeping with a paper swan on her hand.
Sakura tried to move her left hand a bit but she fill something. She turn around and saw Shaoran, her best friend in all the world sleeping thinly on her hand.
What more she could ask ? She have all, absolutely all. All her friends were there, helping her to reach her goal. They already have made 600 paper swans. Soon she will make the wish…
One normal morning, the girl announced happily that they only need 100 paper swans more to finish. Which make everyone motivated to finish.
But nobody know that that girl was suffering of a terrible headache. That she was fighting to don't fall and lose the balance. That she was pretending to smile so don't make them worry. Suddenly in the white bed, the girl slowly fells that all was turning dark and falls to sleep.
Later she slowly open her eyes and see all the people she love worrying about her. She smiled and closed here eyes to never open them again.
In a crystal mirror she could see all his friends, family and all ones she love, crying for her. But the most affected was Shaoran. Who was hugging her and crying on her shoulder begging her to return and to show him a smile.
