Hello, everyone! I just remembered this little one-shot sorta thing I made, and I though my fellow Maximum Ride Fangirls might like this. It's the scene from Fang with Max and Fang in the tent in Africa, but I rewrote it so that it fit those of us who don't have wings. I tried to avoid putting a blank space, but it just didn't work out that way so in the space indicated (_) just insert your name. Other than that, I hope you enjoy!

"The flying was amazing, but… I've missed you," Fang murmured.
"Yeah. And this is probably our only chance to be alone for a while."
"I couldn't stand seeing you get shot at today," Fang said, kissing my neck.
"You've seen me get shot at, like, a million times!"
He shrugged, scratching my back, and making me shiver. "It's worse now."
"Yeah, I know what you mean," I said, and held his face so I could kiss him again.
"_! Fang! Dinner!"
I gasped and jumped back, But no one came in, so Fang's lingering hands stroked up and down my arms as we tried to get normal expressions back on our faces.
"Shhhh, it's ok, no one's coming in", he whispered. Then, very softly, he pulled me into a hug. A minute later I pulled away.
" That really doesn't help with my trying NOT to look like we were just in here…" I trailed off, not sure how to finish.
"I know", he gave me one of his heart-stopping smiles, "but I just needed to hold you close to me one more time before we leave our little bubble". I smiled and gave him one more quick hug, "I love you Fang".
"I love you too, now what do you say we go get some food before people come looking for us?". I take his hand in mine and smile, "sounds good to me, on one condition".
"And what would that be?", he asks with a smile in his eyes that most people would miss.
"My only condition is, that you sit next to me", I grin, because I know what he'll say next. "Of course I will".

I just wanted to add that I'm sorry if this is a little lame or boring, but this could probably be dubbed my first shot at writing fanfiction, so I apologize for 14-year-old me's bad writing. Also, I know it's really short, but like I said I was young. I might do something longer in the future, but for right now I have other things in the works. Thanks for reading!
