Tess' mobile rung.
She looked at the caller ID and smiled, it was her best friend Ross Hoss.
She picked up the phone and answered "hey Ross, what's up?".
On the other end a young Ross Hoss was dressing for work. He was the deputy of Woodsboro. He was 25 years old and was pretty hot.
"Hey Tess, how are you on this bright early morning?" He asked with a smile on his face.
He had strong feelings for her and wanted so badly to tell her. The only issue was she had only just broken up with her fiancee Randy.
"Hey I'm good thanks. Just about to head to work" she replied biting into a slice of toast.
"Cool, could we meet for coffee? I need to talk you about something" he asked.
"Of course, I'll see you about 11. I better go now but I'll see you then"
It was now about ten minutes to 11 so Tessa headed to the coffee shop to meet Ross.
She could see him in his deputy's uniform with his sun glasses on. She chuckled.
He noticed her and smiled.
"Hey" he smiled putting his arms around her in a hug.
"Hey Ross" she smiled as they broke away. Ross held the door open for her to enter the shop.
They found a vacant table where Ross pulled the chair out for her to sit on and he then sat opposite her.
"What do you fancy?" Ross asked her as she was staring at the menu.
She looked up and said " I think I'll have a cappuccino with a chocolate cookie".
"Ok, be right back" he smiled.
"It's ok, I can pay" she smiled.
"My treat Tess" he said.
She smiled and watched him go up to the counter.
He then returned carrying drinks and treats.
"Thanks Ross" she smiled.
"My pleasure" he said looking at her with admiration.
She sugared her drink whilst Ross did the same as she then tucked into her cookie.
"I wanted to talk to you" Ross said seriously.
"Ok, what's up?" She asked.
"Well, ok, here goes, I can't stop thinking about you. And I know it hasn't been long since you split with Randy but I wanted you to know" he said nervously.
"Well guess what Ross? I cannot stop thinking about you either" she smiled before leaning across the table and planting a kiss on his surprised lips.
