Words He Never Heard

A Gravitation FanFic

AN: This came to me while I was in class, so it probably sucks.

But, anyway I'm sending out a challenge for all my readers. Just for fun, though. What I have in mind is someone taking what I write and form it into an actual story. It can be as long as you want. Have fun, and hope this fits your fancy.

Story:

As I sit here pondering the reasons I love you so

I've come to the conclusion that you are my reason for living

Every hurtful word you have ever spoken

Tears me to pieces and leaves me wondering

'Do you even love me?'

I can't put into words the number of times this crossed my mind

But I'll tell you here and now

I almost packed my stuff to leave after a breakdown or two

You comment on how horrible my lyrics are, yet you come to see me sing them

But then I remember what you always say after a show

'They still suck no matter if you put music to them or not.'

Can't you ever say anything nice to me

I love you so much that it hurts me to actually do this

Even thinking about it now I'm surprised I'm actually going through with this

I look down at the blade in my hand and wonder

'Will you miss me when I'm gone?'

Shakily I place the blade to my wrist and whisper

'I love you Yuki.'

I silently watch the blood run down my wrist

And from somewhere in the apartment a voice calls for me

I don't answer knowing that you'd eventually find me

'Brat where are you?' the footsteps getting closer

But my vision is fading fast and all I do is smile

'I love you Yuki.' I whisper again

You've found me and you're…crying

Please don't cry Yuki, I did this for you

To make you happy

You always said you'd be happier if I was gone

Somehow you read my thoughts or perhaps I spoke

Because suddenly you cried harder and clung to me

'I'm sorry Shu-chan, I didn't mean it, please don't leave me.'

I was surprised, I thought he'd be happy

My eyes fluttered, 'Yu…ki…'

You tightened your grip then shushed me gently

'Don't talk Shu-chan, everything's going to be fine.'

The next thing I knew there were people surrounding me

I was lying on a white bed and surrounded by different machinery

I caught Hiro glaring at Yuki, Tohma too

That surprised me to no end seeing that

I'd never suspect Tohma would ever give Yuki such a hateful look

But Yuki seemed too depressed to notice the looks

Seeing me awake Yuki quickly jumped to my side to hold my hand

'I love you Shu-chan, please don't do anything like that again.'

The words I though I'd never hear

Were the words I longed for the most

'Love…too….ki…' was my whispered answer

Yuki placed a gentle kiss on my bandaged wrist

'Get Well Soon my Shu-chan…..I love you.'
