"With the Morning Dove"

I felt the heaven above taking my breath away,

And my mouth that spoke so had nothing to say.

Yes, I have been gone, but in a truth's goodbye,

I am not away, and our souls are side by side.

Wait for me when you get here because I am still, my love.

Through the day 'til dawn I am with the morning dove.

Do you feel the zephyr of wind, a touch with cool healing?

Oh my dear, that was me to cause that ghostly feeling.

With your heart and soul speak to me with a passion's might.

Although I am with the morning dove, I am there at night.

Take the water's hands and laugh with the oak trees,

Or fly with the birds and buzz with the bees.

Before they were split from a world that was mine,

But now my dear, now they are I combined.

Care of the massive lands, and oh my dear, please,

Think of me who thinks of you through the noonly breeze.

My footsteps are upon the shores, not gone from wholesome land,

For my footsteps in a way are the tiny grains of sand.

Yes, you miss me terribly now that I am gone,

But dear, in reality, I am the world that still moves on.
