He sat there watching them. Watching her, more like. The way her bright blue eyes flickered, he could tell that she really believed in what she was saying. She wasn't just talking to talk. He hated girls that just talked to sound cute or smart or sexy. This was new to him. Exciting. Appealing. Mysterious. Her brown hair cut straight down and fluttered innocently around her shoulders. She was dressed conservatively in a pair of jeans and a high-necked sweater. And she was beautiful.

She and her boyfriend were debating Romeo and Juliet. He laughed at the lameness of their conversation, especially from his side. Especially when he had absolutely no clue what he was talking about.

"It was true love, you know it was. It is THE most recognized love story in the world."

"It took place over the course of four days" she countered.

"People lived shorter lives then." He snorted at that one.

"Just because people got older quicker back then, you can't force feelings to keep up with a lifespan. It takes people years to fall in love. Some people go their whole lives without falling in love. How can you fall in love in two minutes?!?"

"It was love at first sight."

"You can't fall in love with someone you've just seen!"

'Oh you are so wrong.' He thought to himself as he wiped the coffee off of the counter.
