Spoilers through 1.20 for sure. This is just my speculation for a scene that will probably never happen.
A/N: Inspired by the teddy bear scene in 1.20, and by a forum post on TwoP on what someone would like Logan to do in regards to Veronica's investigation, and it was so good I had to incorporate it into the story.
The sight that beheld her when Veronica opened her locker almost brought tears to her eyes. She gasped, almost pinching herself to make sure she wasn't imagining things. Slowly she reached out and grabbed the object set precariously on the stack of her books. It didn't even register that she'd dropped her books in the hallway, or that one of those pesky tears had escaped the corner of her eye and was making it's way down her cheek. In her hands she held something she never thought she'd ever see.
A very cute, very soft, very brown teddy bear...wearing a red t-shirt that read "I Wuv You Beary Much".
An enveloped rested in the bears arms, and she hugged the bear to her side as she slid the envelope open and pulled out the paper inside.

I know you wanted one of these won through a demonstration of ring tossing ability, but I didn't see that happening at the moment. I know you need to figure out what happened to you on your own...so I'm going to stay out of your way. If you need anything to help with your investigation(or just to talk), come find me. I figured this could get you started, though. It's a list of everyone I remember handing GHB to that night.

She glanced at the list of names, an ache settling in her chest and a hardness evaporating the pain on her face. Veronica set the bear gently back into her locker, shoved the letter in her bag, gathered her books, and walked out of the school with her head held high.
Logan watched until she disappeared, a sad smile on his face.
"Good Luck." He whispered, turning around and heading in the opposite direction.
