Chapter one:
I was walking along my favorite spot by the lake where the blossoming trees are when I heard slight footsteps brushing in the long grass. My head whipped around, but no one was there. I carefully inspected the area with my eyes, but still didn't see anything so I dropped all my worries and began to think.
I began to think about the one I love. I shut my eyes and lay back on the grass. But these thoughts were soon interrupted by the sounds of footsteps not too far from me. My eyes opened alertly and sat up. Kouji Minamoto was standing right beside me.
I could feel my cheeks turning a light crimson as he sat down next to me.
"Takky, I need to tell u something." takky... he's never called me that before...
I turned my head to look at his.
"I... I love you Takuya. I always have. Ever since we left the digital world, I couldn't stop thinking about you. You've fill a spot in my heart no one else could ever. I can't live without you Takuya." Kouji said quietly.
"I love you too Kouji. Ever since we first met in the elevator I knew it was love." I replied as he turned his head to me and gave a light smile.
He took his hands in mine and leaned close to me. Our lips were centimeters apart when...
"AHHH!!!" I screamed as the alarm went off. I shot up and somehow managed to end up on the floor.
"Great. First day of school. Great." I mumbled as I grabbed the nearest clothes off the floor. I left my room to go brush my teeth and go downstairs. I grabbed a piece of toast, grabbed my bookbag, said my goodbyes and went out to wait for the bus.
At least Kouji and Izumi will be in my class this year.
It's been 3 years since we all left the digital world. Kouji moved not to far from me in that time. Izumi moved 3 blocks from Kouji. Sometimes I think she wants more than friendship with Kouji. I don't like it. She's always following him around during school and when we're all hanging out somewhere she's always dragging him away from me. Don't get me wrong, I like Izumi, but she's too possessive over Kouji. When we're around her I barely get to say a word to her without her dragging him off somewhere.
The bus rounded the curb and came to a slow stop in front of me. I got in my usual seat and saw Kouji in the seat across from mine staring out the window.
God I loved him. But I know he wouldn't return my feelings. I didn't want to ruin the relationship we had so I kept it quiet.
I took out my schedule and noticed I had Spanish for my elective. Joy.
The bus turned into the school and let us off. I caught up with Kouji and headed for my first class.
The first day went pretty smoothly. The teacher actually turned out nice and she let us pick our seats. I sat to the left of Kouji and Izumi sat to the right of him.
When lunch came, we sat at a table outside soon accompanied by Kouichi who ended up in a different class than us.
"Man, ya'll are lucky. My teacher already gave us a project today due next week." Kouichi sighed.
"Well, you are in the AIG class Kouichi." Izumi pointed out.
"Yeah, well I wish I wasn't." Kouichi replied.
"Yeah then you could be in our class!" Takuya said stupidly.
"....."
When the end of lunch bell rang, we walked back to class and the rest of the day went pretty easy. Pretty soon we were on the bus ride home.
Well, that's chapter 1. please give me a review for it and I'll try to update soon. Sorry for the chapter being short. I promise the next one will be longer.
