Grey
Grey is the color sadness,
Just look at me for proof,
For sometimes I stand in the rain,
Not caring for a roof.
Grey is what I am,
I'm not using it for an excuse,
My life is not a firework,
So don't bother to light the fuse.
Grey just doesn't fit in,
The rainbow despises its presence,
So gray just hangs out on the side,
And is treated just like a peasant.
Grey is hard to look at,
It isn't as pretty as the others,
It doesn't shine bright like yellow,
It's just not like the other colors.
So try to avoid being gray,
If you don't you will surely be sad,
So think of some happy things
And enjoy everything that you've had.
