---Glowing candlelight, dimming the usual bright ballroom. Violet and lavender essences dangling in the air. Zero watched as the scenes played out in her dream. Though Ichiru and she were the only living people who knew of Zero's true gender, all who laid eyes on her in a dress-her attire for this dream-did not show the slightest bit of surprise.

Zero floated towards where Kaname stood, and for once, his tuxedo was black. Kaname's eyes seemed filled with so many emotions (which nearly terrified Zero, because any one emotion besides hate and annoyance was rarely seen on Kaname's face when he looked at Zero.

Once Zero had reached the altar, (why was there an altar???)Kaname held her hand in his. The minister (minister???) Began to recite what Zero might have called a poem of blessing, but she was too caught up in trying to figure out what the hell was happening. After awhile, Zero noticed words slipping from her mouth unconsciously.

"...and to belong forever in the arms of my angel, I do."Zero's mouth might have fallen open-as she finally pieced together what had happened-but her mouth was already busy enough.---

Zero's body lurched up so quickly that she couldn't remember the process of laying to sitting. Her long silver hair flitted to her sides. Wait, when did she grow her hair out? And wear blue satin dresses to bed? And have nightmares about marrying Kaname? When did she start calling him by first name?!

Zero heard a small shuffling noise and looked to her right. There, on the same bed, lay the vampire prince himself. Zero's lilac eyes widened, and she jumped out of the bed, nearly falling in her shock.

She backed out of the room, and into an unfamiliar hallway. Zero's feet began to move unconsciously, following some unknown instinct. They left her standing in front of another door. Something that smelled sweet lie on the other side of the light blue door, and it made that instinct wake inside of Zero again.

Zero stepped into the room, immediately recognizing the scents. Lavender; vanilla; honey; rosemary; pine, and some kind of forest-like smell.

The walls were painted a very pale pink color. Opposite the door, a small white cradle was set next to a single-person bed. The bed was clearly vacant, but a small bundle was lying inside the cradle. Zero hesitantly moved towards it.

The baby was so beautiful. Her hair was silver and wavy, and some of the silky strands hung in her tiny face. She was so pale, and only a small flush of color sat on her cheeks and lips. The child's extraordinary beauty was complimented by her clothing. A pink dress with long sleeves and skirt; with a white over-dress to it. The over-dress's sleeves were short and lacy, as the bottom of the skirt was lacy as well.

Suddenly, the baby's eyes fluttered open. Deep brown with such a sparkle that Zero gasped. Kaname's eyes. Everything crashed into Zero's memory at once.

Falling in love with him. Hurting to see him love Yuuki. Losing her mind little by little. Running away to become a level E and die alone. Kaname finding her; fear and concern plastered on his gorgeous face. Her explanation and confession. His promising and soothing words as he fed her his blood. Their first night together. The marriage. Nine months. Now.

"Chiami..."Zero smiled, remembering her daughter's name."My precious Chiami."

"Good morning, Zero."A loving voice cooed from the door. Zero turned to see Kaname striding towards her with open arms. He embraced her for a long moment.

"Kaname..."Zero sighed. She reached down and collected Chiami in her arms. Kaname released her."Forever..."She mumbled, not really knowing why.

"Forever and always. That's when I'm yours."Kaname crooned, kissing both Zero and Chiami's foreheads.
