Running through the fields at night. The crisp air blowing through your mane blowing it wildly around. It feels good. The lush, damp grass beneath your paws. It feels good. Being able to see more clearly. No obstacle could stand in his way. The running felt good to him. It was good being able to run. Know he knew the rush Epona must feel when he rode on her back. Well, Link couldn't say much about the rude, little imp on his back. She was bossy and commanding. Her comments weren't even necessary most times. But, he didn't want to think of the negative. Being a wolf, almost free, running through the fields able to take out an enemy with just his teeth and tail, everything was great. He wished he could have felt like this more often. Then again, this adventure was only beginning. Maybe he would feel this rush again. They had a long way to go before the twilight was gone, and Zant was defeated. In a way, it was saddening. The night was perfect, and running on this perfect was night was pure bliss. He felt an ache on his side, another kick from the imp.
"Go faster, you beast or you'll never save your friends!"
I tried to go faster to please this girl I hardly knew. Still, I couldn't help but look up at the cloudless, starry sky. Looking down at the perfectly green grass that stood tall sparkling from the dew. It was more beautiful than you could ever imagine, more peaceful too. Link focused his attention again on where he was going. Like he said, they were far from defeating Zant. There would be more peaceful nights like this. Maybe even this girl, Midna, would learn to be nicer. Maybe she could gaze at the stars with him.
