Haruka's Tree
Haruka's Tree.
Michiru was kneeling in the backyard of her new house. She was holding a garden fork and stabbing it into the moist soil of her future rose garden. As she did, she heard the back door swing open. Haruka walked out, intending to tell Michiru the message Usagi had left for her, when something caught her eye. A large green swishing in the gentle spring breeze. She turned to look at what it was.
"I own a tree," she observed. Michiru stopped her work and looked at her lover, confused as to why she had mentioned the tree.
"I've never owned a tree before," Haruka clarified. Michiru smiled to herself, continuing with her gardening, while Haruka stared adoringly at her tree.
