I had just moved to my new home. It was a gorgeous house in the suburbs of Perth 20 minutes from the centre of the city, it was a big house for one person but I hoped to fill it with a family of my own soon.
I spent half the morning packing away some of my things before I started to get hungry. So I decided to head to the local shops to stock up on food for the house. I drove to the local shopping centre. I saw a car with its reverse lights on, so I sat with my indicator on waiting for the car to move. I wanted to park in that spot and I was just about to turn my car to head into it when I was cut off by a bright blue car. I just sat there stunned that this woman stole my car space. I watched as she got out of her car and look over at me, I could not believe that she had the audacity to just shrug her shoulders and walk away into the shopping centre.
I got over what happened and found another car spot and parked my car. I headed into the shops grabbed a trolley and started to walk down the aisles. I just kept thinking about what had happened in the car park, thinking about the girl that stole my spot. From what I remembered she was beautiful in a sort of the girl next door way. I completed my shopping and chose to go to a fast food restaurant for my lunch.
As I walked in I heard an annoyed voice telling the staff of the restaurant that they did not know how to do their job. Then the woman walked passed me in a huff and straight out the door. It took me a bit to realise that it was the same girl that stole my car space.
I just shook my head in awe at her attitude before I walked up and ordered my meal.
"I'm sorry sir, but there are no chicken based meals today. There were some dramas and no chicken was available due to a few unforeseen crises. First there were truck problems and then freezer problems where the chicken was kept."
"Wow too many things going wrong with the chicken."
"Yes, however I am able to offer a discount on any other items on the menu."
"Thank you." I gave her my order and then left the store to go home.
After arriving home, I put the cold stuff away and sat down to watch the world go by and think about the TV I wanted to get and where to place it. That got me started on thinking about the other things I wanted to get for my house. I had to get a bed for me and a spare one. I packed away the rest of the shopping and then I headed out to find the things I was looking for to fill my house.
I was so glad that the shops stayed open to 9pm at night. I walked into a bed store and picked a simple double bed for the spare room and then I had a good look around for a bed for my room. I saw one that was a four poster bed that had thick curtains that surrounded it. After organising the delivery of the beds, I walked into a target store to get linens and other stuff for the house. I walked around picking up towels and bed linens for both my bedroom, bathroom and for the spare room.
I then went and got kitchen things. Then I found a deep red lounge set that I really liked and it consisted of a single seater, two two seaters and a three seater. I was wandering through the store and I came across the TV range I saw the TV I wanted on my wall in the lounge it was a 90" TV that I would mount on the wall. I picked up another 60" for the spare room and I was just looking at the surround sound system when I heard her again.
I groaned wondering what her problem was this time. I hid behind the corner just to hear what she was going to say to the sales staff. But I was interrupted by a different sales staff so I missed what the rant was about. After getting all the things I needed for my house I left the shops to head home and wait for my deliveries to arrive.
