Chapter 1
" Link, Link, get up!" A Young girl in Green clothing pushed him to the side. " Now!" A boy shot up out of his oak-wood bed and looked at her. "Hunh" He didnt quiet wake up. " You now have a faerie.! Look, Look!" the Girl pointed beside him and had her eyes opened as big as a tree trunk. "Oh, I see it, what is your name little faerie?" The boy asked as he pushed himself out of the bed. "my name is Navi, and You have to come quick, or the Great deku tree will die. hurry hurry!" Link looked at the girl. "Saria, what is the great Deku tree?" Saria looked at him solomly. "The Great deku tree is the tree in the back of the forest, he is what keeps us together, you must hurry now, for as the Faerie foretold, the Great Deku tree is losing power. You must go save it, Link! I will wait for you here, and when you come back, we can talk, ok?" So link Headed out the door after the faerie. Once he got to the forest of the great Deku tree, he stopped, it all looked as if it were dead, and in front of the entrance, stood a tall, young boy. Link knew who he was, but could not Brace his-self to even look at him. "Mido, Is that you? Wha has happened to the Great tree?" Mido looked down at the ground as Link rushed up to see what was wrong. mido spoke to him. "while you were gone, i met your Faerie, Navi. She told me of what was happening. I was Worried, and sent for her to get you. But the great deku tree has only a few moments left, you best speak before he goes....." Link looked up at the sad face on the tree. The tree spoke softly, and Solomly. "Link.... Over the years.....you have shown courage.....I want you to have this before i go....." The great tree handed down a floating orb of green light, and as it was, it was the great trees crystal. the crystal of the forest of Kokoriri. Link, Wondering what to do, looked up. "But, Great Tree I----" The tree lost all of his power and was forced to leave his soul and depart. Mido could only mutter a few words, and shot off down the path to tell the others. Just as Link was ready to go, Navi spoke. "Link, you must go to Hyrule and see the Princess there. She is the only one who can know what to do. Hurry. Go to the bridge and pass, no harm shall come to you, unless you are left defendinf after dark. Go, Now, Saria wants to speak to you." When link reached the bridge, he couldnt speak. Standing there was Saria. She handed him the ocorina. " Link, I want you to have it, and hold it close to you, we will always be freinds no matter what!" Saria kissed him, and just as she turned, A kid with a skull mask burst out from the bridge, and Took Saria and fled. Saria was gone. What would Link do without her? He ran towards Hyrule, to get the Princess's Help.
