It was a normal summer day and the waves were nice and calm, perfect for fishing. A 10-Year old girl and her dad were off the coast of Slateport City. A Female Goldeen was swimming about when suddenly a piece of bait with a hook attached was just sitting there in the water. When she was little she watched her dad take the bait and never return. She then never pursued bait again, but this time it was different. She hadn't eaten in days and was seriously hungry. She took her chances and took the bait. She had gained some line and thought she would get the bait. However, the girl's dad took over and reeled in the Fish. The Goldeen was scared. The fish was also endangered due to overfishing. She didn't know what was about to happen. They put her in a back and took her to the Daycare for breeding. When the bag finally opened she was in Natural Saltwater pond where there were other fish were swimming. Coming to greet her was a male Goldeen and Male Relicanth. She hadn't seen other Goldeen other than her Dad and Mom, but since the accident, it's mainly been Magikarp and Sharpedo. She slowly swim's away not knowing what they want. A little hole was at the bottom right side of the pond and she swims in for nap. She wakes up to see the Goldeen and Relicanth waiting for her. Startled she kicks up Silt. They don't go away. She asks what they want but they just smile at her. Then the Relicanth says to her follow us. She follows them over to the Deep side of the Pond where they tell her why she's there and what they are going to do to her. Her parents never taught her about breeding so she's unfamiliar with what they're talking about. Confused she goes back into her hole for more rest. At about 7:00 pm she is thrown out the hole by intense water. The Goldeen and Relicanth had gotten ready to breed knowing the filters come on at 7:00pm every day. When she is finally out, they come to breed. Her eyes quickly widen as she is felt in her private area. After about an hour, they finish their Breeding. She feels some kind of relief after breeding with the other Fish. They talk to her a bit more before inviting her to sleep with them. Two days of her Pregnancy go by and she has to lay her eggs. When she finished laying her eggs, she checks a couple of her eggs and looks at the shell detail. It's different from the other ones. She wonders if the Relicanth had something to do the children. A couple days pass and she is still thinking about her children. Out the corner of her eye, she sees a crack in one of the eggs. More and more cracks appear in the eggs and a fish not many had ever seen before hatches out one of the colored eggs. It's a Relideen, a fish with 8 fins including tailfin like a Relicanth but the horn, body, and appearance of a Goldeen.A Hybrid, Pokemon. When the Relideen comes up for air, the Owner is startled by what she sees. She puts on a dive suit and snorkel and heads in the pond to get a better look at what she thought she saw. It's a Hybrid and she captures it in the Pokedex. It isn't well documented and is rarely seen unless going to extreme Depths. Since the Hybrid was made, she didn't need the male Goldeen anymore so it was returned to the wild. Just the thought of Hybrid Pokemon gave the owner a lust for money, so every day she made the Goldeen and Relicanth breed for about a month until, she couldn't take it anymore. By this time Goldeen was forbidden to capture. If you had one, you couldn't sell it to any fish markets due to overfishing. Exausting the Goldeen was bad for business for the Owner since the Hybrids were being requested by many people day after day. The Goldeen was pushed to the limit. Getting about 3 hours of sleep every day, she wouldn't have the power to even lay her eggs so, the business was canceled for some time.
