Percy gulped, staring up at the gigantic Tartarus, who was ready to devour his essence. Suddenly, though, he noticed something behind Tartarus. It was a big, blue, box, hurtling through the air, right at their small group. That snapped him out of his trance. "Look out!" 'What?' Tartarus turned around in time to get a faceful of blue box. 'Ow!' He cried out, falling back. Percy managed to tackle Annabeth out of the way, and the blue box plowed into the ground behind them. Several veins burst, spraying nearby monsters. Percy managed to redirect the water away from the two of them. The veins healed quickly, however. They all approached the big blue box, demigods and monsters alike. "Police public call box." Annabeth said out loud. "Huh?" "It's a police box from the 1900's," a monster in the crowd called out. "I was there." Suddenly, the door opened and a man tumbled out. Smoke billowed upwards behind him. "Oh, hello! I don't believe we've met! I'm the Doctor!" At once a cry rang out from all the monsters. "It's the Doctor!" "Run!" "We're doomed!" "I like trains!" Within minutes, the heart of Tartarus was clear of monsters was clear, except for Tartarus, who had recovered enough to strike. Growling, Tartarus took a swipe at the demigods. "Oi, don't do that!" The Doctor yelled, pointing a small device at Tartarus's arm. The tip lit up, and Tartarus found himself without an arm. "Wha– Doctor?" "Yes, it's me. Now get going." "Sorry." The rest of Tartarus's body disappeared. "Well, I'll just be on my way now. Terribly sorry for bursting in like that." The Doctor said. "Geronimo!" The box faded in and out with a mechanical, wheezing sound. All this time, the two demigods and Bob were staring open-mouthed. "Well... That was easy," Percy stated.
