A Moment

He was two years out of Hogwarts and I was one, but he was as much of a flirt as he was when I was a sixth year. He got up from his chair and put his hand out so I could take it, I did. And as I did he pulled me close and whispered "Come to my flat tonight." I looked into his hazel eyes, why did god have to make him so handsome and irresistible? I mean, how could I say no to him, I could say that I had to get home or some nonsense like that but I knew he wouldn't buy so I agreed. He grinned, and then said "Shall we be on our way?"
"Of course." I replied with a smile. We walked outside the restaurant and I prepared to apparate to his flat when he stopped me and said "I have a surprise, hold my hand." I obeyed and in a matter of seconds we were on a bridge that over looked a beautiful lake. Along the right side of the bridge was what looked like a castle covered in Ivy, below it was a garden full of colorful flowers. And to the left of the bridge was more greenery and a tall paperback maple tree. "Wow." I whispered softly.
"I knew you would like it," He said with a smile then added "just like you adore me." I hit his arm playfully and started laughing. "Well, I didn't bring you here to complement me I brought you here to ask you something."
He got on his knees and ran his right hand through his hair. I immediately knew what he was doing, he was going to propose. I, unfortunately, couldn't hear a thing he was saying because I was in such shock. But I saw his lips moving, his chest rising as he took deep breaths, his eyes sparkling and his hair growing messier and messier as continued his speech.
"Lily? Are you gonna answer me?"
I laughed as I squeezed him into a hug and said "Yes, I would be honored to marry you James."
He lifted me up and spun me around grinning like he had won the muggle lottery. And as I was in his arms I realized that this flirt had given me the happiest moment of my life.
