The golden trio made their way towards the dungeons, "Double Potions with Slytherins" Ron groaned. Suddenly their pathway was blocked.
"Hello Potter, Where do you think you're heading?" Harry stood his place "Same place as you Ferret-boy" Harry went to side step him but Draco was to fast, "Nah I don't think you are, I think you're going to turn around and go back where you came from, this is Slytherin territory" "come on Harry, just ignore him" Hermione tried pulling Harry away "Shut up you filthy little Mudblood you don't even deserve to walk on the same ground as us purebloods" he stepped into her personal boundaries, "You don't deserve any of this" his gaze never wavered from his "Come on guys let's get to potions" Draco smirked before letting them pass.
The hairs on the back of Hermione's neck stood up, someone was watching her. She glanced around the classroom; all heads were down looking at their work. The bell sang, after packing up Hermione resume reading Hogwarts: A History and began walking to the library. Once she reached a deserted corridor she stopped to put the book in her bag, but as it was too full she caused her bag to break and all her belongings to spill over the floor Hermione sighed before crouching down to pick it all up.
Draco was walking up the stairs when he saw Granger's bag split. Determined he kept walking.
Hermione looked up to see Draco at the top of the stairs; he looked like he was having an eternal battle "forgiven?" he asked and walked passed quickly while Hermione stared at his back trying to work out the whole sentence, he turned and came back to her. "Can they?" flustered Hermione stuttered, "Can they what?"
"If a whole person's life is a lie, if everything they say is a lie, can they be forgiven for the one truth they give? One little insignificant truth" she gulped taken back by the emotions in his grey eyes "I don't know Malfoy" she whispered sadly his hands dropped from her shoulders and his head turned away, as if making the ultimate decision he turned back around and pressed his lips softly against hers "You're beautiful, and worth so much more" he seemed to be looking for the right words before bending down and handing her, her books "So much more then any of this" then without anymore words he turned and walked out of sight.
Hermione leant back against the wall, a small smile playing at her lips "not so insignificant".
