I. A CALAMITOUS OCCURANCE

One dark and starry night in Ohu, Gin and his closest generals were out patrolling the perimeter of Gajou for suspicious activity. Gin and John took the lead, with Ben and Chutora close behind (they had to take Chutora because Kurotora wasn't feeling well) and Akame sailing through the trees above. It had been several months since the reign of the demon bear Akakabuto, and stability had begun slowly returning to return to the mountain. As they were walking, a low hum and faint glow in the distance garnered their attention, and the dogs turned to investigate.

"Humans? Here?" Ben growled softly.

"I doubt they would venture so high up in the mountains in the spring," Gin explained, "but we had better check it out."

As they pushed their way through the undergrowth, the quintet came upon a small wooden shrine, neglected and falling apart from age. The humming was louder still, and a small, gently bobbing orb of violet light stood out in the center of the derelict structure.

The pack ventured closer, and with a thundering crack, harsh violet light spiderwebbed out from the orb and enveloped them all.

Chutora howled, and the bone-white moon of Japan vanished from their gazes for a long, long time.

II. A VENTURE TO COURT

"Guinevere!" King Arthur exclaimed, "Shall we go galavanting? The air is crisp and the sky is bright - the weather is pulchritudinous and rare on this 9.8 degree Rømer English winter morning!"

"One second, dear!" Guinevere rebutted.

Guinevere entered the room and placed a large goblet of hot coco on the famous round table. King Arthur's face lit up with unspoken delight.

"How wonderful!" He pontificated. As Guinevere stirred two sugar lumps into his aromatic drink.

"You know, Arthur," Queen Guinevere purred, sticking her lips into the coco and waggling her eyebrows, "I really like the mahogany of this table. And I'd really like to go galavanting with you ... after a little ... tête-à-tête."

"A tête-à-tête? But Guin, we already are tête-à-tête!"

Arthur took a large, rich, warm, chocolately slurp.

"I meant in the closet, you endearing fool." She enticed.

"Well..." The once and future king ejaculated an excited giggle and ran outside, prancing in the melting snow. "Maybe after our snowy adventure!"

"Come back!" Guinevere husked imploringly, and then, sighingly, followed him outside on a brisk amble about Camelot.

III. AN ENCOUNTER (part 1)

And in another place, and in another time, Morgan and Gin slinkingly approached each other in the delightful dreamy dusk.
