A Day in the Life of an Artemis Hunter
Maria Rose was having a normal day in the park with her dad, step-mum, her two younger brothers and her older brother when a, at first look a snake came slithering out of the woods. In Maria's eyes it grew to be as long a bus. Her step-mother, Bessie and her younger brothers (from youngest to oldest) Derek and Matt were running as fast as they could but her dad and elder brother, Sam, stayed and fought to get her out alive as she was paralysed with fear. When she finally snapped out of her daze she began to run after her dad and brother. Ahead of them there was a fork. Maria looked behind her at the now fully grown dragon (it was now as big as a football field) as she was distracted she took a left as part of her family went right. She soon found herself in a clearing with a group of girls in silver with bows aimed and wolves growling. As soon as they saw her they lowered their weapons. "Hello I am Zoë Nightshade lieutenant of the hunters of Artemis. What is your name?" The obvious leader said as she had a silver circlet, that no-one else had. On top of her dark braid.
"My name is Maria Rose..." That is all she got to say before the dragon comes charging into the clearing she and the Hunters stand in. All of a sudden a silver arrow goes past her head, it buries itself deep into one of the dragon's eyes. "Sorry but that was critical" a twelve year old red head says. "My name is Artemis. Maria have any other monsters come after you?"
"Yes. Are you Artemis as in the Greek Goddess of the wild, the moon and maiden-hood?" Maria asks curiously.
"Yes I am. I understand that this is a lot to take in. But you are a demigoddess."
"A what?" She answers clearly confused.
"Tell my who have you known the longest, your Mother or your Father?"
"My dad. Why?"
"You will see when we get to camp."
"O.K." She drags it out very, very confused. What is this camp? Where are my family? How long until I see them again? How long until we reach this camp?
"Camp half-blood is for people like you. Your family are safe inside their home but are worried about you. Your father is explaining your true identity to them. As for when you will see them again it will be during summer break but then you have to go back to camp or you can stay at camp over the break. As for when we get to camp it will be soon." Zoë said. Maria was very embarrassed by accidentally voicing her concerns. "We shall start walking but first I an offer to propose for you. Would you like to be a hunter of Artemis?" Artemis says.
"I would love to!" Maria says.
When you arrive at camp everyone swarms you and the other Hunters.
"What are YOU doing here?" A voice screeched over the loud whispers. "I could ask you the same thing." Zoë says.
"Zoë!"
"Sorry, milady"
"As for that question Drew we are here because Chiron invited us." Artemis says as calm as ever.
"Zoë Nightshade the infamous titan's daughter scared of a twelve year old! That's some good gossip!"
"How dare you insult Artemis!" Zoë yells. It took all the Hunters and all of the girl campers to hold zoë of Drew. Through the whole thing you awkwardly stand there. When all of a sudden a silver light glowed around you. Several gasps were herd and the campers and Hunters let go of Zoë just before she fainted, luckily Phoebe caught her just before she fell. Maria looked up and a sliver moon was glowing above her.
