Sonic's POV
"Sonic! Come on! The sooner we leave, the sooner we get there!"
Tails yells from downstairs.
"Hold on lil' buddy, I'll be down in a sec!"
I yell. I grab some clean gloves and place them neatly in my suitcase. Tails, Kunckle-head, Shadz, and me are all going on a camping trip. Tails said we all needed to bond, so he had suggested a camping trip. I agreed, although Knuckles hesitated before he agreed. Shadow, now Shadow was pretty hard to convice.
I had explained to him that we were going on a camping trip, and that he was invited, but he said no. I frowned then I explained that it was going to be an all boys camping trip. We talked it over and I finally convised him to join us.
"Why cant I come?!"
I hear Amy from downstairs.
"Amy , its an all boys camping trip, no girls allowed,"
Knuckles says. "But I wanna be with Sonic!" Amy yells. "We said no!" both Tails and Knuckles yell. I smirk, close my suitcase and head downstair. Once Amy spots me, she zooms up right infront of my face, hands entwined. "Sonic! Can I please come?!" My eyes widen, and I take a step back, "Amy, its an-" "- all boys trip," both me an Amy finish. "I know but-" "No, Amy. . . just. No." Knuckles says. "Sorry, Amy, maybe next time," I say. Amy groans and storms out of the house, slaming the door.
"Well that was plesant," Tails says, in a sarcastic tone. I smirk, "alirght, when is epic fun time gonna start?" Knuckles and Tails stare at me with a balnk expression. "Epic Fun Time?" Its silent for a second then the three of us burst out laughing. "Wheres Sahdow?" I manage to get out. "He's not here yet," Tails says, "he'll be here in a while." I suddenly stop laughing, "in a while?" Tails nods, "yeah, we have to wait until he arrives, for us to leave."I though my head back, groaning, "I swear, he makes even the funnest things boring."
"What was that, hedgehog?"
A husky voice whispers in my ear. I shudder and slowly turn around. "Hey Shadz." Shadow crosses his arms, "It's Sahdow, not 'Shadz'." I roll my eyes with a smile, "whatever, Shadow, ready to go?" Shadow nods with a smirk, "Ready." "Alright then, lets go!" Tails says, interrupting our moment. Well. . . not really a moment. "I call shotgun," Tails calls. "Fine with me, gues i'll ride in the back with Shadz. I mean. . . Shadow," I turn to Shadow and smirk, he scowls which makes me chuckle.
We grab our stuff and head outside. We get in the truck and throw our stuff to the back. "So. . . why can't I just run there?" I say as I slip on my seat belt. "Sonic, I told you before, were going somewhere new. Somewhere you've never been." Knuckles explains to me as he looks at me through the rearview mirror. I shrug with a smile, "alright, lets just get out of here." Knuckles starts the truck and we drive off, heading to a new destination.
