"I should have known better than to trust a pirate."
Will looks at her and she feels oddly transparent. Sometimes she wonders if he is still the same, after all these years of ferrying souls. He seems so much different than she remembers, but then she realises, she's changed, too. They all have. When she thinks on it, she cannot tell which of them has changed the most, and for whom.
"But it was the man, not the pirate, you came to trust, wasn't it?"
She meets his gaze and he merely smiles. She thinks it looks like Jack's.
