THE DREAM - PROLOGUE"Haruka!" a familiar voice cried out.
A small girl, twelve in age, saw herself being sucked away by a malevolent being. The mysterious being was cloaked in white. No, this being had no body. It was a void of white with a golden mask where it's face should be.
"Haruka!" the voice cried again.
What was happening? Had Noein came back? It's foggy. Haruka saw, out of the darkness of nothing, a hand extending itself. The girl was being whisked away by this strange thing; could it be Noein?
Noein had vanished six years prior to this day of beckoning; why had he returned? Was he after the Dragon Torque to create this "perfect" world?
"HARUKA!" the voice was now shouting, screaming out to the young girl.
THUD
Haruka felt her back crushing on the floor, had she been dragged back to Shangri'la; that so-called perfect world Noein speaks so fondly of. As her pale eyelids popped open, a bright light left the purple-hair female blinded.
Once she had come to, eyes adjusted to the unwelcoming lights, Haruka glanced around. She was in her room at her house. The female was just where she left herself the night before.
There was no Shangri-La, no Noein and definitely no Karasu screaming her name. It had just been a nasty dream, but why now- why on the day where Yuu was to return to Hakodate from Tokyo?
Haruka was an eighteen-year-old woman now; the Haruka in her dreams had been the one back when she was known as the Dragon Torc. Who would have imagined that an average girl like Haruka could have had the power to control space and time itself when she was twelve?
While using the bed as a support, Haruka brought herself to her feet. It almost reminded Haruka of times she had spent back with Yuu, with Karasu and even the deranged Atori who had caused Haruka and Karasu so much trouble.
Though, in the end, Atori had sacrificed himself for Haruka and her friends. For such a rancid Dragon Warrior to have sacrificed himself for someone who resembled his sister, perhaps Atori wasn't that bad of a guy deep inside.
That was the opinion in Haruka's head, of course.
After showering, eating breakfast and saying goodbye to Asuka- the woman's mother- Haruka headed out to visit a friend who was very dear to her.
