Before she came there was Aoi, Ruka and Natsume. And when Aoi got taken away there had been Ruka and Natsume. I was there with him through tears, blood, and fan girls. I cried his last tears with him. I waited for him after missions. I stayed with him at the Academy.
And then she came like a sudden storm. Suddenly it wasn't Natsume and Ruka anymore, but Natsume, Ruka, And Mikan. And she was so oblivious to the damage she caused, so lost in her own world to notice the hole that had been made. And then she stole my heart like an innocent thief in the night, and I didn't care that she was apart of us.
But then just like that everything changed even more. She got feelings and smiles that I wasn't able to get. She got teasing and nicknames and attention. And then it became Natsume and Mikan. I was forgotten in the yelling and kissing. No one asked about Ruka because they were so in love with each other.
I still had the memories, but not really.
So I'm stuck here by myself, a shadow amongst friends. Because I love him and I love her as well.
