Jade stared at Cat with a confused expression while Cat continued eating her cupcake.

"Cat, that doesn't make any sense at all."

"Sure it does." Cat said before going back to licking icing off the top of the cupcake.

Jade, after being slightly distracted by the other girl's current activities, replied, "My mouth is not full of diamonds. It's full of teeth, and a tongue. That's about it. So yeah, your statement equals nonsense."

Cat finished what remained of the cupcake, and then turned to Jade with her wide eyes.

"Well, it makes sense to me. Tori and them were talking at lunch, and said you had a nasty mouth on you. But they're all wrong." Cat paused in her speech to move over to Jade's side of the bed, and climbed into her lap where she continued.

"They only see the mean words that come out around them, but when it is just you and me, like right now, you don't say things like that. You use pretty words. And pretty words are shiny to me. So if shiny words come out of your mouth, there must be diamonds in there because diamonds are shiny. Do you understand now?" Cat finished with an extremely proud smile on her face.

Jade looked at Cat in complete wonder. She didn't understand how this girl could make such a childish and absurd statement become the nicest thing anyone had ever said to her.

"Yeah Cat…I think I get it now." Jade smiled as she leaned in to kiss Cat's sticky sweet lips with her mouthful of diamonds.
