The Echoes of Silence after a Long and Hard Battle
The silence was a loud echo after their worlds were saved. Maybe it was the prolonged fighting that had done it. Or the absence of their partners – or Marcus, the one usually responsible for chaos. But the world seemed silent and empty with all that gone.
There was no need for DATS, with the gate closed. Most of them had no-where else to go: Yoshino, Miki, Megumi, Sampson – eventually Sampson returned to his original position and drafted the girls through some institutional loophole. Thomas was okay though; he still had his sister to cure.
But there was still something missing.
