ONE OF THEM DAYS

"Mulder, its me"
"Who?"
"You know the alien"
"Which Alien?"
"From the freezer"
"Fish Fingers is that you?"
"No it's Ice cube"
"ICE CUBE! Damn it you know your not allowed in my freezer"
"Not my fault these frozen peas are damn good"
KNOCK KNOCK "Mulder"
"Ice cube get out before Scully sees you"
"I Can't my feet are stuck to the chicken"
"Mulder are you there?"
"Coming!… well defrost them"
"Now how am I supposed to do that hmm?"
Mulder looked around franticly until he saw it
"Microwave!"
"Microwave? how am I suppose to get from here to there?"
"Mulder I'm coming in" he could hear Scully unlocking the door
Mulder dived for the freezer and grabbed the chicken with Ice Cube attached to it, he could here Scully's footsteps getting closer, he made a mad dash for the microwave and crammed ice cube and the chicken inside, putting it on for 4 minutes cook instead of 4 minutes defrost, just as Scully walked through the door Mulder swung round with his back to the microwave
"Scully Hi, what are you doing here so early" he said as casually as he could
"Mulder its 7:30 you said 7"
"Oh I did?, yes I did" Scully looked at him strangely, in the back ground the microwave was making a strange sound
"Mulder what's wrong with your microwave"
OH GOD ICE CUBE
"Scully how about you go sit down in the lounge and I'll be there in a minute" he insisted
"Ok Mulder if you insist"
"I insist I insist" Scully gave him one of her,
'what are you up to' looks and retreated for the lounge, Mulder
heard the microwave stop as he
closed the door behind her, he
turned back to see smoke coming from the microwave
"ICE CUBE!!" He opened the door or at least tried to, the door was jammed and stuck together by a strange gooie substance
"Got to get him out, got to get him out, what to use, what to use?" Mulder looked around franticly as he scrambled through his cupboards
"Plate? Knife? Cup? Rolling pin? Rolling pin!" he grabbed the rolling pin and started to roll it across the goo hoping it would stick to it, it did
Everything was going fine until the rolling pin got stuck to the microwave, he tried to pull it off, it wouldn't budge, he put his foot against the cupboard to brace himself then he counted
1... 2...3
With one mighty heave he pulled on the rolling pin and sent the Microwave flying over his head, crashing it into the opposite side wall behind him
"Mulder are you alright in there? Do you want me to come and help?"
"NO! no I'm fine I'll be there in a minute" Mulder reached down and picked up the microwave to find the door had broken off and a very black Ice cube had fallen out
"Ice Cube are you Ok?"
"THAT… WAS… THE…MOST…CORUPT… DISTASTEFUF…STUPIDEST THINGS YOU HAVE EVER DONE
lets do it again especially the part where I went round and round
"Mulder?"
"I think Ice cube its time you went back home"
"But I don't want to go back to the fridge, its cold, it smells like fish and I think the margarines are talking about me behind my back"
"Well you'll just have to deal with it" he said in a rush as he heard Scullys footsteps approach, he heaved Ice cube into the fridge
"Ice cube its good to see you again, what, freezer too small for you, ha ha"
"Shut up Lettuce and I don't want to here anything from you tomato" Mulder closed the door just as Scully walked into the kitchen stopping to stare at the broken microwave
"Mulder are you ok?"
"You know what Scully, how about we go out for dinner instead, my treat"
"Sounds great, where are we going?"
"Anywhere but here" Mulder said looking over his shoulder as they walked out
"Anywhere but here"
