Authors Note: Hey Guys! I haven't updated in forever! Sorry! Anyway I came up with this story at school… It really creeps me out… Anyway, I need a beta-reader! Please PM me if you could!

I wake up, sweat dripping off my brow and thunder shaking the flimsy tin house. I glance out of the window while lightning illuminates my room. I feel my blood freeze as I hear a dog bark a little away. Settling down, I lie down in my soft bed. Silence settles over the room. Quickly Anna Rose's story flashes through my head. . ~Flashback~ "If you wake up in the middle of the night, close your eyes. If you are lucky, nothing will happen. If not, then you will hear tapping on your window. Keep your eyes closed. Soon the tapping will get louder and it will get impatient. The tapping will get louder until it becomes a bang. Then it will stop. Don't open your eyes until morning." Anna Rose looked around the group at the scared faces. "Aren't you scared Amy?" Anna looked at me. I scoffed. "No! I don't believe in ghosts." Anna Rose shrugged. . ~End Flashback~

The tapping gets louder as I curl into a ball under the covers. BANG BANG BANG. I flinch at each bang on the window, the glass violently shaking. Silence once again settles over the room. I slowly open my eyes to the darkness. The rain has stopped and it is completely silent. Silently I throw back the covers and stalk to the windows, shivering in fear and breathing raggedly. Nothing. Darkness is the only thing I see outside. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I freeze in fear and my eyes go wide. I was holding my breath. Who was breathing raggedly? I hold my breath again hoping madly I was imagining things. The heaving breaths continue. I try and scream but I am frozen to the spot. "You should have believed." Then there was black.
