Chapter 1

"Wanna go on an adventure?" Those 5 words changed my life. This is the story of how I died.

"Bee, wait up!" I called to my best friend who was currently ignoring me at the moment. "Bee, stop walking!" What have I done to deserve this harsh treatment?

Catching up to her, I shove her arm trying to convey my pissed-off-ness.

What I was not expecting was for her to jump and let out the most earth shattering scream. Turning to me, I realise that she had earphones in her ears. Seeing me, she quickly pulled them out and glared at me.

"What the hell was that all about!" The shock on her face was a little bit funny. Ok, it was very funny.

"You were ignoring me, I had to get your attention somehow." I said, trying to look innocent but that was very hard considering I was anything but innocent.

"So you decided to try and plough me over!" This was Beatrice for you. Total drama queen.

"I did not plough you over... I bumped you." Sort of. I guess you can tell I'm not very fond of being ignored... even when it's not intentional.

She let out a scoff "Bumped me. You near gave me a heart attack!"

I hold the back of my hand over my chest and say, rather dramatically, I might add "Are you accusing me of trying to murder you!" Then you know what she does. She rolls her eyes at me. Rolls her eyes! At me!

"No, I was accusing you of trying to give me a heart attack" She says... smugly. Bee doesn't do smug. Don't suit her, yet here she was looking smug.

I let out a huff "Same thing..." Finding it very awkward that the event has turned around to bite me in the arse.

Turning and walking ahead of her I can hear her obnoxious laugh following behind me. Stupid Americans and their stupid accents and their stupid hamburgers and their stupid... everything!

"Oh my God, Jamie! It's him, it's the Joker. Oh my God, we're gonna die!" I turned around to glare at her.

"Could you be a little louder? I don't think the other side of the world heard you!" I shout back at her before following her gaze... and she's right. It is the Joker and he must have heard us 'cause he's staring straight at us, a peculiar look on his face.

I can feel the adrenaline throbbing in my veins and my body flushed. God, I live for this.

I squeeze my eyes shut to try and calm my beating too fast heart. When I open them I realise he's walking over to us. His lap-dogs over by the big black van. Blends right in.

He's standing right in front of me. Holy shit, I'm gonna die. I'm too young to die!

Breathing in deeply, I open my mouth to say something. Anything, but he beats me to it.

"Good evening, Doll Face" He breathes out in a low tone. He was quite intimidating. Rather tall and... broad.

I could hear a thump behind me. I could only guess that was Bee.

Not daring to look around to see what happened, I let out a shaky "Hello"

"Oh, goody! You're English!" He squeals, clapping his hands and grinning rather...maniacally.

"Let me guess... London. I'm right, aren't I!" My mouth fall's open when he starts bouncing on his feet, his hands clasped in front of him.

The only thing I can do is nod. He frowns at this.

"Speak up, sweetheart. Let me hear that cockney accent of yours"

Clearing my throat, I put a bizarre grin on my face and speak up "Your roots are showing."

I realise that I just started another story earlier, but I am just so bored! Please forgive me and don't forget... REVIEW!
