Walking through the halls of the tower,
Passing by messy, clustered rooms
And you wonder how is it we have so many belongings,
When before this
We had no home
We're kids that grew up too fast
Maybe we were never kids
Kids aren't exposed to so much pain,
So much sadness,
Each in our own ways.
But we're kids now-
Kids who want to play, to laugh, to win,
To love.
I watch her from the tower roof,
Flying in the freedom of the air,
And agree that we are definitely kids who just want to love.
But more so,
To be loved.
